A very unique local experience for us, brought here by a local during a work trip 😊 The dishes were generally unique - cassava leaves felt a little familiar also the way it was made was rather new, grilled pork was more common to us but it was tasty, though I only picked out the less fatty ones, fish was good but was rather boney, then there’s the braised meat which apparently had some pig blood in the sauce, definitely an eye opening experience for us - not that we can taste it since it’s heavily doused in sesame oil and tasted like a Chinese dish. A unique experience for us and glad we got to try it thanks to a local!

Food is excellent, parking space is a bit cramped and you should navigate with care because it's quite narrow. Located right next to the main street, careful not to miss it because of their signage isn't very clear. Now for the negative, service was awful, I had problems with one of their server, his attitude to be exact and that's kind of giving bad vibes to the whole experience as a whole. Live music was too loud and made me want to finish my meal immediately and leave. One portion of vegetable is enough for two adults, so don't over order. Price is reasonable according to its portion.

The live music and singing added an amazing quality to the already stunning atmosphere. I especially loved the earsplitting performances from all of the vocalists - it allowed me to divert my focus away from my conversation and towards the aura that filled the room . As all of the heavy smokers gathered to devour their meals, you could really feel a sense of community and family values which perfectly reflects the Southern Jakartan way of life. I also got food poisoning. Truly one of the restaurants of all time.
