Having dinner here after 8 PM, the place is still buzzing with customers. This is a place just to grab a simple dinner, so be prepared to be very smelly from the smoke after visiting this place. To eat here you must brave the thick smokes outside and find a seat. I ordered sate taichan and sate maranggi (chicken and goat). The table is sticky / dirty, and they barely provide tissue. Environment wise, not a proper place to have dinner. But when the dish arrived, the portion is quite decent. For me the taichan was far better than the maranggi. Even probably one of the best taichan in Jakarta. The maranggi is still good but I've tried better maranggi elsewhere. There's almost no parking space for cars, so better to park inside the several mall around this place and walk here.

Tried the satay taichan (chicken) — the taste was nice, but it was quite dry. I also had the satay maranggi (beef), which was much better: tender, fatty, and juicy. Usually, satay maranggi comes with sambal oncom (fermented soybean), but unfortunately there was none here, which was pretty disappointing. The price is also quite expensive at 30k considering the area is CBD, yet the place itself isn’t very pleasant. Overall, it didn’t quite match the expectations.

The sambal has a decent kick and it satisfies a quick craving, but the overall flavor is pretty average.

Totally love this place! The taicha satay is so good juicy, thick, and packed with flavor. Even though it was super crowded, the food came really fast. Worth the hype and definitely a must-try spot in Senayan! 🔥🍢

love love love! Just love the sate. Portion was generous, meat chunks were big and satisfying. personally I think its worth every penny. Can be a bit problem for ppl who drive tho since there is no designated parking area
