overall, this is a great place for coffee, food and hangout. the coffee is really good, and some of the food are also awesome. however, (for my taste) some of the pastry (eg: canele, donuts) are just not my cup of tea. Do make sure they write down your order correctly tho, because apparently there are some menus with the similar name but maybe because it was crowded, the staff missed out (even tho you pointed the picture of the food on the menu) and put the wrong order.

Really impressed with Gould Coffee & Eatery! It perfectly captures that cozy, Melbourne-style cafe vibe right here in Jakarta. The coffee is absolutely spot on—bold but creamy, and the pastries are always fresh. The staff is welcoming, and the atmosphere makes it a great spot to catch up with friends or get some work done. Highly recommend!

the vibes and prices really remind me back to Melbourne. The Drinks ​Tiger Bomb: Absolutely on point. It’s rich and creamy, but the best part is that it doesn’t drown out the actual coffee flavor. Highly recommended! ​Manual Brew: We tried the Colombian beans. Since we ordered it iced, the specific tasting notes were a bit subtle—maybe try it hot if you really want to catch those complex flavors. ​The Mains & Snacks ​Egg Chiffon Brisket Rice: This was incredibly delicious! The only tiny heartbreak was the portion of the brisket; it didn’t quite match the generous amount shown in the menu photos. ​Snacks: ​Thai Lumpia: Tasted good but felt like it was missing a "kick"—maybe some cilantro or a mango element would elevate it. ​Truffle Fries: Crispy, but could use a heavier hand with the truffle oil! ​Fried Bananas: Very tasty, though a sprinkle of extra cheese would make them perfect. ​The Bakery (Must-Orders!) ​Don't skip the pastry display. The Aussie Meat Pie and Spinach Ricotta Pie were savory perfection. For the sweet side, the Lemon and Cranberry Scones were delightful. Definitely worth ordering! Service & Facilities ​Staff: Both the staff and security were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. Smoking area were outside at the balcony. The bathrooms were impressively clean! ​There is no prayer room (mushola) inside the venue. There's one located at the alley next to the premises. ​Overall: Great spot with high-quality food. A few minor tweaks on portioning and seasoning would make it a 10/10!

I ordered tiger bomb and paired it with blueberry cheese scone. Both were exceptional with reasonable price. Staff were attentive. Will try their Aussie specials on my next visit.
