The Soto were awesome. We ordered Soto daging and Soto campur. All in santan. Next time we'll try the bening. And we ordered Sate Kambing. The portion quiet big, taste were great. Delicious and the meats so tender. The place were very crowded. Service were fast

Wanted to try some tasty local food, and this place popped up in the recommendations. I got the beef soto with the clear broth, which came with rice, and a fresh coconut water. Squeezed a couple of calamansi wedges for that citrus freshness. Very delicious. Rice was well executed, hot and sticky. Coconut was sadly not cold. Nonetheless, an excellent meal in town. Would recommend and return.

The well-known soto in Pasar Baru, which is always packed with customers, especially during lunch time, but don't worry, the service is fast. They have soto sapi with santan and clear broth, soto mie, sate kambing, and sate maranggi. The broth is savory and flavorful. The meat is thick and pretty tender. i’m not a big fan of soto betawi, but i tried this because people said that it’s a must try in ps baru. i ordered soto betawi campur and 48k for this is a joke. i don’t understand how this place became ‘legendary’. it’s too salty. i don’t know if it’s because i came at nighttime so the broth had simmered for long or it just has no taste profile other than Salt-y. i wished it’d have at least a fragrant aroma of the herbs and noticeable coconut milk’s nuttiness, BUT NO, just straight up salt. i don’t understand. they give bit generous amount of meat though. also kudos for the rice, it’s perfect in texture to be paired with the soup. other than that, the service was Ok. it varies: some attendant were nice and some other were meh and too pushy. also you get a typical local warung experience here sitting together with others, lovely. will i come again? no, and i won’t recommend my acquaintance to come either.
