Completely by chance was invited to have lunch meeting at RM Krekot alias Kuo Thie Krekot, a place I used to frequent as a little kid and haven't been back for decades. The restaurant has been renovated since and much bigger with a send Ruko allowing more tables. We ordered their signature items: wotie, bihun goreng and kangkung hotplate. Everything tasted good especially dipped into the sauce condiments including the compulsory mince garlic. I can't remember if the kangkung hotplate used to have this much tauco or my own palette has changed but it's definitely made it too salty. Bihun goreng was great and so was the wotie although there are many resto out there who have similar offerings with different wotie styles that I've come to enjoy. Happy to be back!

Non halal. A great place to eat Kuo Tieh (grilled dumpling), tasty and juicy. A well made dish. Eat with the sauce (create your own) to boost the taste. Suan La Thang (sweet sour soup) also nice, fried rice good as it's very fragrant. Watercress hotplate also not bad, and Butter Fried Swikee also good. I have to say, food here is good. The only downside is food is pricey, probably cos of the location is in the heart of the city. Notes: I went there 2 times, photos acumulated for 2 visits.

Simple, plain, but delicious hakka style food. I enjoy the delicious dishes here. The vegetable stir fry is not over-cooked. So, i can be sure the nutrients are well preserved. The chili sauce is definitely hakka style with lots of garlic flavor, just like what my mother used to prepare. The dining hall is clean & the owner and the server are very friendly and attentive.

Its an old restaurant. Feel like chinese home cooked meal served by your old neighborhood auntie or such. Just simple menu, like bringing back old memories of old chinese restaurants from your parents time. Food is ok. The noodle is homemade and its texture is unexpectedly quite nice. Service is ok, they tried their best. Its still managed by family so dont expect industry standards.
