Amazing food, but an even better community! We were caught off guard when we realized they don't accept QR code payments and we were short on cash. A wonderful gentleman seated next to us kindly paid for our entire meal. We are so touched by his generosity! Beyond the incredible kindness of strangers, the Bakmi Karet was delicious. Thank you so much to whoever that was, we didn’t even get your name… 🥲 Thank you so much!
View on GoogleThe flavour of the noodles and broth speaks for itself! The texture of the noodles is perfect. Ordered the fried pangsit and cakwe as extras as well. The pangsit was also nice and crispy. The cakwe was unfortunately soggy. The spring onions and extra spicy sambal compliments the noodles and soup very well!
View on GoogleThis bakmi is perfect for breakfast—if you come at lunchtime, it’s usually already sold out. The noodles have that chewy “bakmi karet” texture, simple but really delicious. The flavor isn’t overcomplicated, just well-balanced and satisfying. The place itself is quite simple, but the food quality is excellent. Highly recommended 👍
View on GoogleFinally managed to try this legendary bakmi karet spot. Visited on weekend at 12 PM, this place is still packed with patrons. A bowl of karet noodles is at IDR 44K, which served quickly. The chicken is not much but lean and tender. The noodles is handmade, though not my favourite in terms of texture. The chicken soup is also quite good. You don't need to buy the pangsit, it's expensive. The sight of the whole pot of chickens simmering in the kitchen and the whole chicken carcass is a sight to behold. It's hot, chaotic, and authentic, you know this is the real deal.
View on GoogleBest dry noodles I have ever had! (From someone who has been living in Taiwan and travelling to Japan for years) And the staffs are very friendly, 10/10.
