Kurasu Menteng is easily one of the most interesting coffee spots in Jakarta right now. The place carries that clean Japanese aesthetic minimalist, calm, and super comfortable for slowing down and enjoying a proper cup of coffee. Tried their coffee and it was exactly what I expected from Kurasu, clean, well balanced, and beautifully brewed. Nothing overly fancy, just really good coffee done right. The attention to detail is noticeable from the first sip. The atmosphere is a huge plus. Feels peaceful despite being in the middle of the city, making it a great spot for coffee dates, solo coffee sessions, or just taking a break from Jakarta’s hustle. Overall, if you’re into specialty coffee and Japanese café culture, Kurasu Menteng is definitely worth checking out. Great coffee, great space, and immaculate vibes. Will definitely be back.

Loved the chill vibes and aesthetic interior here. Instagrammable from every angle! I tried their "Maru" signature drink, and it’s a brilliant pairing of matcha and coffee. The flavors complement each other so smoothly without overpowering one another. Great spot to hang out, relax, and catch up with friends over good drinks.

Service 5/5 The Staffs are so nice and friendly. And also they are quite fast in tidying around the cafe. Very good. Try the Shokupan Salt Bread 4.5/5 28k Very buttery, salty but not too salty. Not that big but the price is quite normal for that size. Mont Blanc 4.5/5 50k Now i understand why they get on the top of the list. The cream is so good. And the cold brew is so good. At first you can taste the coffee and orange in the cold brew its very interesting and balanced it out at the same time. But once the cream melting into the coffee, it is quite covering the taste of the coffee. But its good for that price. Ambiance 5/5 Very love the ambiance. Very artistic and quite cozy. And i came around 9.30am so its not that many people inside, so its quite comforting for me. Very good and very love the place.

Kurasu Menteng is a very comfortable coffee shop, especially great for WFC. The overall vibe is calm and cool, making it easy to focus and relax at the same time. The coffee is excellent, and their matcha is seriously good. They also offer a wide selection of Indonesian coffee beans with different price ranges, so you can choose based on your taste and budget, which is a big plus for coffee lovers. The indoor smoking area is extremely cold (almost like a freezer, in a good way), making it a perfect spot for introverts who just want to sit, work, or hang out quietly. People here tend to mind their own business, not too loud, and the jazz music in the background really completes the experience. In the indoor non-smoking area, there’s a piano, and sometimes someone plays it, adding a peaceful and elegant touch to the atmosphere. Overall, the place is very comfortable, cozy, and enjoyable — great drinks, great vibes, and a perfect place to spend hours. Highly recommended ☕🎶

I ordered a matcha coffee latte ( which I forgot the name with matcha foam on top and coffee underneath), was sooooo good. Then I ordered a dirty again and a duck dry noodle again. Everything was just so perfect, I will try other stores in Jakarta.
