I really enjoyed my time at Tator Coliving. It feels safe, calm, and thoughtfully set up, which made settling into Jakarta much easier. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and the shared spaces are nice without feeling crowded. The people are friendly, the staff are kind and attentive, and the overall vibe is relaxed. It’s a place where you can have your own space but still feel part of something. I’d definitely stay here again. It is also very affordable with its offering of food and drinks

A really cool, laid back, casual hotel. Run by locals and it seems it is made for locals or at least it has a really authentic feel to it, unlike many other tourist trap hotels charging triple the price. The rooms are great and have everything you need, the receptionists are friendly, it has it’s own little food court in the courtyard sometimes with some of the best Satay i’ve eaten in Jakarta. The street it is located on is really cool with some small shops and a bar. The location is really convenient and central. You can get everywhere in Jakarta very fast, i recommend taking Gojeks (local uber service)

I was a little bit put off by the other reviews, that's why I wanted to write this as i Ended up going ahead with the booking, I'm happy I did. The private dorms are fantastic value for money. They're not bunk beds or shared room, you literally get your own private room with a key. Only the toilets and showers are shared, but that's perfectly fine as they get cleaned frequently, no smell either, clean condition. I have a feeling that the non dorm rooms have issues as they don't get cleaned as frequently. For £5.70 you really can't go wrong and if you're heading from the airport you can grab the airport bus to the central train station and then walk to the hotel is only 15 minutes. I liked the private room well fanned and great at keeping the mosquitos out, didn't have any trouble. The wifi was also very good for the price I really can't complain, they even had free soap in the shower room. The staff is very friendly which of course is an added bonus. Also happy i went with additional breakfast option the Indonesian breakfast was great and perfect for what I needed. The area is also a busy hangout spot with massages, laundries, corner shops and bars, everything you could possibly need. All the 1 star reviews I have a feeling are for the private rooms, the dorm room option is perfectly fine, id go with this option if your looking for a good price for a good location.

I found the hotel in booking.com when I was looking for a budget hostel. In this hotel they have hostel like room for solo travelers. In most of the hostel you have to share the room with other 4-12 people but in Tator hotel they provide individual private room for every bed but room rate as like shared hostel bed. Only the Wash room and Toilet is shared. The Overall environment is good. WiFi was amazingly fast as they have separate routers in each floor. Breakfast also okay. The environment of dining area was very nice, Its in hotel yard, open in the air with umbrella.
