Nice place with a great ambience. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating options. The prices are reasonable, actually quite cheap compared to other bars. The live music is also really good and adds to the overall vibe. Cons: • There are only two staff members handling customer orders, which feels quite limited. I was there on Sunday night, the place was only half full, but it still took a very long time for them to take my order. • I had to wait almost an hour for my food to be delivered to the table. Other than these two points, everything else was positive.

Great place with amazing live music. Drink is okay, but food service is slow. Highly recommended for tourists! Must come if you are at Jakarta!

A little bit out of the way but worth the trip, Melly’s Garden is a potent mix of an Asian setting with a western pub menu. Designed as a mash up somewhere between a Chinese courtyard and an Irish Pub with touches of a temple garden, we loved our two trips to Melly’s during our time in Jakarta. The servers were all warm, friendly and helpful and the Bintang was icy cold. Clean bathrooms were a welcome plus. We tried some Indonesian chicken curry and also a cheeseburger and both were above average. The city can be a bit hectic and hot as an oven but Melly’s was a welcome respite from the noise and heat.

Excellent downtown bar. Mainly outdoor so be prepared, friendly and helpful staff. No draft beer but good selection of bottle beer. Right beside the Hyatt hotel so we'll worth the visit.
