I recently visited Hero Sushi (I believe it’s on the second floor of Plaza Indonesia) and tried their Hiro Deluxe Sashimi set. I was disappointed because they ran out of one type of fish, and the only substitute they offered was additional salmon—no other options. That felt a bit inflexible, especially for a deluxe set. The cuts were also quite small compared to some other restaurants. I also ordered the Kitsune Soba, and that was perfectly fine, nothing extraordinary but enjoyable. The environment was clean and comfortable, and service was polite. However, the lack of flexibility with the sashimi made me quite disappointed since I was originally drawn by the wide variety of options and extensive menu.

Service needs to improve (faster), Sushi Hiro Sarinah staff is even better. Not a right time to visit—ALL salmon & gyu donburi menu is unavailable. Matcha lava cake is good. Beef hamburg don is slightly plain & rice portion compared to beef portion is too much.

The restaurant was excellent. The staff were very friendly, and they took my allergies into account perfectly. I felt well taken care of and would definitely recommend this place.

First time for a foreigner like me at this critically acclaimed, beautifully designed contemporary sushi joint. I’d heard so many good things about the group, so I was looking forward to the dining experience! Everything was great, from the stunning ambience to the friendly service to the delicious and innovative food. If only there’s one thing that could be improved, asking your guests to scroll on their phone to look at your 70-page (!!!) menu is very inconvenient and bothersome, especially for middle aged and the elderlies! Or for those without mobile phone (yes some of us do want to eat or chat in the restaurants, and not scroll on our mobile phone throughout the entire dinner!). Plus, the paper version of your menu has no photo of the dishes whatsoever. Probably have some printed paper menus ready just in case, it’s a worthy investment. Facilitating seamless experience/guest satisfaction is key to keeping your success consistent. Technology is there to assist us, not to make our lives inconvenient! Most good restaurants your level have a “bible” paper menu with photos, descriptions and prices of the dishes. Also, a special heartfelt thanks to the staff for accommodating us with a smile at 21:20 when the restaurant was closing at 22:00! And for waiting for us until we finished our dinner past 22:00 and the whole mall was already dark! You all were amazing! 🤩🙏
