Located in the basement of a mall, this is a spacious and cosy Indian restaurant with a long history and loyal following. The ambiance remains pleasant, and I particularly appreciated the dedicated smoking room, which is a rarity these days. Unfortunately, the food quality does not seem to be what it once was. The Bamboo Prawn Biryani lacked flavour and was quite disappointing. Service could also be improved, as the staff were not as attentive as expected. One of the biggest letdowns was being told that the Banana Split was unavailable because they had run out of bananas. For a restaurant, this felt like an avoidable issue and not the best excuse to give customers. Thankfully, the great company at our table made up for the shortcomings and ensured we still had an enjoyable time. Overall, the restaurant has potential, but improvements in food consistency, service attentiveness, and inventory management would enhance the dining experience significantly.

As a vegetarian family who also avoids the five pungent roots, finding a restaurant that genuinely accommodates our needs is rare — but Queen’s Tandoor delivered without hesitation. The staff were warm, attentive, and happy to adjust dishes to our requirements, which made the whole experience feel truly welcoming. The food? Absolutely stunning from start to finish. The pappadum set the perfect tone, and every dish that followed was a celebration of flavour — the veg biryani, veg butter chicken masala, palak paneer, and the soul-warming yellow daal with chickpeas were all beautifully spiced and lovingly prepared. If you’re a vegetarian — or simply someone who appreciates incredible Indian cuisine — Queen’s Tandoor is a must-visit. Highly recommended! 🙏🌿

My first visit to JKT and a friend of mine told me that, my trip is incomplete without having a meal at Queen's. So before heading to the airport, I made a point to have lunch. One of the best Indian fusion restaurant in Indonesia. Delicious food, excellent quality and generous portion, superb service.. highly recommend.

Great taste delicious authentic Indian Food in the heart of Jakarta. They serve complete wide range of Indian cuisine, and has great ambience inside the restaurant. What makes me amaze is the hospitality of the staff, when they notice my son feel spicy, they offer to replace the chicken meal with new ones. I wish the restaurant has good luck in the future, and till we meet again :)
