Filosofi Kopi Sarinah is a wonderful spot for a relaxed hangout. When I visited with a dear friend in July 2023, the cafe’s blend of Jakarta's iconic history and modern, minimalist vibe made it the perfect setting for our catch-up. Whether you're looking for a great cup of coffee, a warm chocolate drink, or some tasty snacks, this cafe delivers. The atmosphere is welcoming, the service is friendly, and the quality of their menu is always consistent. It was a memorable experience in the heart of the city, and I recommend it for any casual meet-up.

This is a great cafe. The coffee was strong, yet smooth. My latte was perfect. The lychee tea was good. We both loved the Lotus Cheesecake. It was firm, yet creamy; perfectly baked. The balance of sour cream cheese was not overpowered by the lotus biscoff caramel. It was a perfect balance. Lovely, helpful staff. Reminder: This is a cashless shop.

Still haven’t tried the Melawai branch, but my first visit to Filosofi Kopi Sarinah was a good one. Easy to access near the lobby, and a solid choice for hanging out or Work From Café.

Coffee is ok but they didn’t have Qris then, only card was difficult. Maybe updated now. On the ground floor of Sarinah with indoor and outdoor seating.

Welcoming Staff Simple interior. Fast WiFi Coffee: 4/5 House blend: Sumatra beans Hot long black. Slight acid, citrus, logan, and light chocolate notes. Good coffee. 3/5 Toraja Coffee: v60, hot, citrus , dry fruits and herbs . No caramel, chocolate and vanilla as advertised. Cons: Annoying artificial scent, floating in the air.
