We came to Fat Duck Menteng for lunch, and my first advice: make a reservation before coming! The restaurant itself isn’t very big. There are two floors and no lift, and it can get quite crowded during lunchtime. What really stood out to me was the service and hospitality. The team was attentive throughout our meal, and even came to ask for our impressions after we finished eating. The tea was also free flow, which was a very nice touch—and thankfully, it was really good too! 😊 We did have a couple of issues, but I was actually impressed by how quickly and professionally they handled them. We found something foreign in our watermelon juice, and they immediately offered to replace it. Interestingly, they kept the original glass on our table until the replacement arrived, so we could be sure that they had made a completely new one. We also noticed that some plates weren't perfectly clean and had a slight trace of oil. Again, they replaced them immediately and apologized several times for the inconvenience. Mistakes can happen in any restaurant, but how the team responds makes a big difference, and I really appreciated how seriously they took our feedback. Food-wise, we ordered quite a lot, and almost everything was a big hit! The only dish that didn't quite meet our expectations was the salted egg fried shrimp, as the shrimp didn't taste as fresh as we had hoped. But the stars of the meal were definitely the roasted duck and the black onde-onde. 😍 The duck was incredibly juicy and delicious. And the onde-onde... sooo good! It was sweet without being overly sweet, with just a little hint of saltiness that balanced everything perfectly. I would happily come back just for these two. Great food, genuinely warm hospitality, and a team that clearly cares about the customer's experience. I will definitely come back! ❤️

We are so pleased with the quality of the food. It feels luxurious but yet the price is reasonable. Everything tasted great, only the shrimp on the congee were not the freshest. But overall we had a satisfiying lunch here.

Dinner at Fat Duck Signature Restaurant Menteng was a really enjoyable experience. The duck was the clear highlight for me — flavorful, tender, and nicely juicy. The other dishes were good too, even though the duck is definitely what stood out most. It felt like a solid choice overall, and I’d happily come back when I’m in Menteng again.

Food was amazing! They serve the food around 20mins after we arrive, they greeted us cheerfully, the food was delicious! We enjoyed every thing we ordered, every was flavourful and good portions, I think if they serve the food a bit hot would be nice. Also the staffs were amazing! They were so welcoming and nice. Will definitely go back here.

One of our go-to comfort food spots near home. The Black Sesame Onde Onde is definitely a must-order—we get it every visit. Overall, everything we ordered tasted delicious. Staffs were attentive and quick to help. The xiaolongbao had flavorful fillings, although the top wrapper was too thick, making it slightly chewy in texture.
