Bundaran HI Viewing Platform in Indonesia was a great place to enjoy the city atmosphere and skyline of Jakarta. The view of the famous fountain and surrounding buildings looked especially beautiful at night with all the lights around the area. I enjoyed just standing there, watching the busy city life and taking photos. The place had a modern and energetic vibe while still feeling relaxing to visit. Definitely a nice spot to experience the heart of Jakarta.

One of Indonesia's most famous landmarks can be seen from this platform. You can take pictures of the city skyline and the welcome statue. The area consists some of the most high class buildings in Jakarta, including Indonesia's first 5-star hotel, Hotel Indonesia Kempinski, the fanciest Indonesian mall Plaza Indonesia, the most famous Jakartan mall Grand Indonesia and some famous world class hotels like Grand Hyatt & Mandarin Oriental.

One of the most iconic landmarks in Jakarta, featuring a massive roundabout surrounded by impressive city views. Traffic can be quite heavy, especially during rush hours.

To enter this place, you have to buy a bus ticket even if you have no intention of taking the bus, which is honestly a bit ridiculous. That said, the view is quite nice and offers a great panorama of central Jakarta. The admission system feels unnecessary, but if you’re looking for a good spot to enjoy the city skyline and take some photos, the view itself makes the visit worthwhile.
