I read people on Threads talking about this joint, and I had to go. For someone whose taste buds lack resilience against spicy chillies, I might not be the best person to review the overall taste. I can, however, describe the dishes’ textures to you. I noticed that the fish meat, perkedel, and fried meatballs were a bit dry. That said, the part where the meat meets the skin was delicious. It’s chewy! They have indoor and outdoor sections. If no one is smoking outside and there’s a football match going on, it’s best to pick the outside table.

Must try for me is the Bandeng Bakar especially if you love sambal dabu-dabu, this one is chef kiss!! And if you looking for comfort food, try their Sop Saudara, it feels nice both on your mouth and tummy. The place is mostly crowded at lunch and dinner time. The seat is limited so you have to hurry

A straightforward, casual eatery spot in Little Cokro Menteng. I ordered their Ayam Afrika which cost IDR 55K. The chicken was well-fried with a good crust and solid seasoning, served with cooked banana, which is interesting to me. Portion size was fair for the price, and serving the rice separately made it feel more like a proper meal rather than street food. The sambal did most of the heavy lifting here— really spicy, it added punchy spicy kick. Overall, it’s a decent, no-frills option if you’re nearby. Not something I’d go out of my way for, but reliable for a quick, filling meal. Parking is limited though.

Here not for seeking Sulawesi food, but for the Bandeng Bakar (Grilled Milkfish). The taste is meaty and yum. Dabu-dabu sambal is ok, but it's too spicy for me (yes, I cannot eat spicy food). Love the place, like the service, ok for the price. Next time will try another menu as well, so I can update the rating. Totally will come back!

Timing is all you need. Thank God I visited this place when the line and the city (definitely) is pretty empty. smoked bandeng is good with sambal so refreshing. Sop sodara is tasty even though the rice is overcooked. However, it was full filling. Marked this place as want to be revisited.
