Recently tried Soten Japanese Charcoal Grill for Sunday lunch and overall, had a pleasant experience. Came on a very crowded day but the staff gave a fair warning that a big party will be attending that day when making the reservation, and still was able to seat us in a semi-private area. Ambience and atmosphere combines elegant and sleek modern accents with traditional Japanese decor. Menu is extensive with a mix of traditional Japanese dishes and a wide variety of yakiniku meat cuts with plenty of side sauces and condiments for different flavor profiles to taste. Started off by ordering the saba shioyaki, buttered mushrooms, and miso soup. All delicious and tasty. For the meats, we ordered the wagyu ribeye, jo karubi tare, and thin gyutan with a side of Japanese negi chimichurri sauce. Meat was tender and flavorful and paired perfectly with a side of garlic fried rice. All in all, the meat selection would keep you coming back, especially to try the other various cuts. For dessert, had the Purin - creamy and sweet, which rounded up the meal nicely. Staff and service were extremely attentive, friendly and accommodating - they gave us great recommendations and suggestions for first-time visitors. A big thanks to helping find a more quiet spot amongst the large party attending and appreciate the attention to providing a more comfortable dining experience. Overall, a nice yakiniku restaurant, perfect for dates and friend/family gatherings. Looking forward to try more of their A5 selections and their larger steak cuts next!

Tasty and beautifully presented. We had the lunch menu this time and what really stood out was the sambal that complimented the dish surprisingly well. Highly recommended if you’re looking for quality Japanese cuisine that thoughtfully caters to Indonesian palates.

I had a great dining experience at Soten. I’ve returned here because I genuinely love the food, and it never disappoints. Everything was delicious, and the service made the experience even better. Kak Figo was very helpful and friendly throughout our visit, which made us feel really welcomed. Definitely a place I’d be happy to come back to again.

Reasonably enjoyable but quite pricey. Maybe it’s worth trying at least once? But we probably won’t come back. Place was quite nice and service was good. No standout dishes, but meat quality was decent.

Absolutely incredible experience. The quality of the A5 wagyu here is on another level — beautifully marbled, and it literally melts in your mouth. Presentation is stunning, with each cut labeled and arranged like art. Not only the beef was exceptional, but the rest of the menu truly impressed me as well. The grill gindara and salad also tastes amazing.. and even the ice cream dessert.. not too sweet and very nice The staff are super nice, attentive, and really make you feel welcomed. highly recommended !!
