We came as a group consists of friends from Malaysia,New zealand and singapore, the place is easy to find , 30 mins journey during macet time in the noon from thamrin city. We came without expecting so much, turned out the food is amazing. The mandy rice is flavourful without being overwhelming with spices which is to our liking. The chicken is soft n also very delicious. The chicken shawarma to our benefit came w size which is great for us!

I went to this restaurant for dinner with my wife after we visit an event in Taman Ismail Marzuki. They proudly announce as the restaurant where arabian cuisine supposed to be cooked. Somehow, it is a bit mixed review. I ordered Mandi Rice with arabian roasted chicken and arabian chicken shawarma. The shawarma is excellent, they serve it with white sauce (garlic mayo i believe) and indonesian standard chilli sauce, the chicken shawarma had a smoky and herb infused aroma. The Mandi rice though a bit lack, the rice itself is excellent, but the roasted chicken somehow tastes bland, its herb aroma is not as strong as the one in the shawarma. The condiment sauce did not help much. For the drink, i order arabian black tea, i was hoping the mint will taste strong, but i was left bit disappointed the tea is too strong that the mint taste literally disappeared. The lemon tea that my wife ordered is good though, fresh lemon, subtle tea taste. The place is cozy and they gave free tea or coffee after you finished eating, so that is another plus point. The price is quite reasonable and affordable. All in all, it is a bit 4,5 star to my taste, not a 4 but not quite a solid 5, but i do recomend you to visit, give it a taste, and decide yourself after you finished eating.

The atmosphere is humble. The food is outstanding. The arabic tea and turkish coffee are superb. We ordered Nasi Mandi with half chicken, Shawarma Chicken Wrap, Arabic Salad, and Baba Gannouj. Total was IDR 254,100.- My fav dish were Arabic Salad and Baba Gannouj. Special mention for the half chicken, it was so balanced juicy, tender, flavored. Overall, love the food & drinks here.

I tried the Arabic Style Chicken Shawarma and the Falafel Wrap, both taste great even though it’s my first time eating them, the taste is perfectly balanced for me, not too rich and but not bland either. The atmosphere is pretty great, it is silent except the arabic songs? but it’s not that loud, there’s electric socket everywhere if you want to work or study, i got free tea and coffee shots too, oh and also i’ve got something called friend bread as i am choosing a menu and waiting for my foods. The tea is great idk what it is

Personally, i love the Falafel, it was crunchy and tasty. I ordered the Chicken Shawarma Rice, Salad and Kebab and the food suited to my taste. I like the place which gave me 90's vibe. No complaints at all.
