What a nostalgic place to go to. Not surprisingly, the delicious food haven't changed since I last visited 6 years ago. The food quality is and always has been great and consistent over the years. The place is also spacious for events serving excellent food. And the value the restaurant gives is something that would make me come back for more!

05 Sept 2023 Come to this restaurant to eat because of the long history of the restaurant that has opened since 1925. But disappointed for the taste of the food. Asparagus soup 7/10 taste old school Jelly fish 5/10 Fried wanton 6/10 Fried frog 5/10 Hard and chewy Pork with bun 5/10 Tasty but hard Steam shrimp 1/10 Small little shrimp, over cooked, and the worst part each shrimp cost Rp 43.000 / each, for a little shrimp Fry noodle, Fry rice 5/10 Go there wanna try their famous Fried Pigeon but sold out, and others famous dish also sold out. The best part is wanna order their Special Fry Rice, and they told me out of ham or 1 of the Special Fry Rice ingredient.

Old style chinesse food .. our comforting food. The sweet and sour fish is delicious, all soups are must try, ifumie, fried frog, and everything in the menu are delicious there is a ballroom dance event every wednesday with live music

Having new year lunch at Ekaria, high expectation that end up with dissapointment. Taste of food is great except for nasi manis which is too sweet for our taste, but the one that make it bad experience is their service. Having pre order the food and pay down payment, I expect the order is ready once we request it. Yet it tooks 30 - 40 minutes for first dishes to appear (not even rice) with a very serious complain to all the waiter. Without it maybe it will tae another 30 minutes. One of pre ordered food even does not put into the order and again need to complain again before it available Overall it ruin 50% of lunch experience where everyone become so tense and does not enjoy the food On the positivr note, gundur soup is must try, so does lindung and fish. Ayam also good choice to order. Hoping to have better experience in the future with Ekaria

Order 6 foods and all are delicious! The portion as request, small (1-2 person), medium (3-5 persons), big (6-8 persons). The places are very big, there are small rooms for private dine in, also for sangjit, and ballroom for wedding reception. However the parking lot is not many. So it could be parking outside the restaurant.
