The place looks like a simple roadside warung, yet we were charged IDR 470,000 for 3 people. I felt misled because the menu used pictures without clear pricing, making it difficult to know what to expect before ordering. As an example, we were shocked to find out they charged IDR 75,000 for a glass of es kopyor. Ironically, Christian worship songs were playing throughout the restaurant, while the pricing practices left me questioning whether customers were being treated fairly. Definitely not coming back. Double-check the prices before ordering and review your bill carefully before paying.
View on GoogleBefore I knew the price, I already thought it’s overall tasty but pretty normal— the otak2 was springy but fish flavour not as intense as what I’ve had from the streets, and the sauce more peanut-y than spice-y. Fish balls are likewise too. Then I saw the price. Pretty sure this place has become a tourist place. The pricing is on par of the quality. 10k for one single otak2, and 8k for one fish ball. They could be charging differently for locals/tourists, but anyway not worth the price and the trip for nonlocals.
View on GoogleAn old humble place that sells many kind of classic food that more suitable for a tourism spot destination in my opinion. Actually the taste was not bad, but pricewise, it was not worth for having simple traditional dishes such as rujak juhi, otak otak and batagor. However, Kopyor was fresh and could be separately served without sugar and syrup.
View on GoogleThey sell plenty of snacks. The fishballs are super tasty. You should try it other than the popular fishcake (otak-otak) and super refreshing coconut drink. Owner is very friendly. Note: Next door selling fishcake too but it is not related to them. Don’t go to the wrong one.
View on GooglePlace very hot and not comfortable, service is not very fast but quite friendly, but the food is so good. The otak-otak is amazing, not too hard or chewy but is quite tasty and savory. The batagor is also great and use the same fish cake component with fried tofu.
