It’s pretty clean, considering this place has been open for quite a while. There isn't wide variety of food, but overall it's all delicious, especially the nasi liwet. Friendly service and quick food service.

The grilled fish is very delicious. I also like that they offerred a plenty choice of fresh-made sambal for free. The "sambal penyet" is salty and spicy, a perfect companion for the rice and fish. The restaurant is not too large and cramped during busy hours so it's better to come early in the evening.

Our family has been coming to this restaurant for many years, but unfortunately, last night's meal wasn't as good as we remembered. We always love the Tumis Kol, but this time it was disappointing. The cabbage was cut much thicker, so it wasn't as crispy as usual. The Gurame also wasn't as good as before. However, the free sambal is still the king! Our whole family absolutely loves it, and it's one of the reasons we keep coming back. We also tried three new dishes: Udang Pete, Udang Goreng Tepung, and Cumi Goreng Tepung. All three were good, but nothing particularly special. The biggest downside was the price. The Udang Goreng Tepung costs Rp120,000 for just eight prawns, while the Cumi Goreng Tepung is Rp110,000. In our opinion, both dishes are overpriced for what you get. Despite this visit being a little disappointing, our family will definitely continue dining at Ikan Bakar Cianjur. It's still one of our comfort restaurants, and we're hoping the food returns to its usual standard on our next visit. This version keeps a balanced tone—it points out the disappointments while acknowledging why your family continues to support the restaurant.

If u come during lunch time, hard to get a table (better make a reservation in advance). Especially if you want to come in a big group, it’s a decent place to bring your company’s guest for lunch. The resto can accommodate around 50-60 pax only approximately. Nasi Liwet is a great choice to combine with the fried/ grilled nila (tilapia) fish, or pesmol style nila fish. Some side dishes worth to have are Karedok (gado-gado style veggies but fresh), Kangkung, sayur asem and fried tofu, Drinks varieties are also interesting to try. Overall experience is good food and service. Didn’t wait too long for the food to be served, and the price is still reasonable for the types of foods we get.

Love Ikan Bakar & this spot is another example of how it can be done so well. Had no doubts the food would be good but the service and friendliness of the staff takes it up another level. If you've never tried before of just want to have it again I, I would highly recommend.
