Honestly, this was my first time trying Holycow. The steak itself was okay, but I was a little surprised to find out that the meat served on the menu is meltique meat rather than traditional steak cuts. For the taste and sauce, I’d give it an 8/10. However, the doneness could definitely be improved. I ordered medium rare, but what came out was closer to medium well. I think using a meat thermometer would help make the doneness much more accurate and consistent. One tip: if you’re planning to come here, check for TikTok vouchers because they can make the meal much more affordable. Also, if it’s your birthday month, you can stop by and get a free pasta aglio olio. Overall, still worth trying, especially if you can get a good voucher!

Holycow mentioned they have a birthday promo where we order anything with any price and get a free spaghetti. At that night it wasn’t crowded, we were there around 7pm. I thought the promo menu looks decent. But the free spaghetti for birthday was so bland and it’s too hard to chew, not a proper food to be served to the customer. I feel like they just serve me a leftover, a very very very scrap of leftover maybe. It’s that bad. Even the instant Wow spaghetti tastes better than this. In the end i didn’t finish it. Too hard to chew and swallow 🤧 We ordered the other steak, and it was okay. The sauce is so-so or more bland. And almost 80% in the menu is not available 😅, only the steaks and the most expensive steak available. For resto: Please upgrade your customer experience and customer services. For you who wants to go here for a birthday treat, DON’T. I will not recommend. For the steak? Well if you are curious then you can try yourself. The steak here just not to my taste.

Dropped by a somewhat secluded budget steakhouse, and it was decent overall. The steaks were flavorful and cooked well, though nothing extraordinary. Sides were basic but did the job. The place had a quiet, casual vibe, and the service was friendly, though not particularly standout. Good for a simple, no-frills steak night if you’re nearby and craving something affordable!

Food is great as always, however I was surprised when seeing a bunch of fried onions on top of my steak. I'm not a big fan of onions. The service was top notch; the place is kinda small. I went there for dinner at 6 p.m and three tables were occupied. Since the desks are quite close to each other, it feels packed and maybe inconvenient for some. I would recommend sitting on the 2nd floor.

Still one of the place to go for steak. Tried the wagyu, but not really impressed. However, tried the Hokubee and it was amazing! They said it was prepared Japanese way, I am not quite sure either but it was awesome. It was the perfect portion, not too big and not too small. Ordered in medium not medium well done.
