As i know, happy day opened for the first time in 1993. it’s one of imperial restaurant now. i ordered chicken cordon blue but it was too dry. The fettuccini carbonara was good, and also the fish and chips. Prices are affordable and i like the ambience. Maybe imperial group has to review all the menus and give it back to the old style of Happy Day ✌️
View on GoogleThis place is me and my boyfriend's to go place when we want to eat inexpensive western foods. Happy Day doesn't only serve western, but there is Indonesian and Chinese food too. I tried the Baked Beef Rice with Cheese (around 58k) and my partner ordered the Salmon Pasta (around 58k). We also order the Meat pizza which is enough for 2 people to eat but not too big. The size of the main courses i would say is not too big but enough to make you filled. We also ordered their Rainbow Cake for dessert, its was okay. The atmosphere is warm, it feels like a wood-country side place-ish. Very comfortable and the waitresses are quick to respond, take our order, and cleaned our table after we finish our main courses. For 3 main course and 1 dessert, we spent around 200k++, but we bought a voucher from GrabFood Dine Out, so we only paid 170k 😍 Overall good experience, recommended for gathering because the place is quite big & the food is equal to the value of price
View on GoogleCozy and spacious restaurant with friendly service, and with a wide choice of food available. Nice decor and great atmosphere. I noticed that another reviewer said that portions were on the small side - I agree - I had the pink salmon pasta which was very good though it was a bit on the small side! I also had mushroom soup, it was good and portion size was ample. Then I finished my meal off with a slice of chocolate cake and some ice-cream, though I thought the cake was a bit too dry which is why I only gave 4 stars for the food. Prices were very reasonable and I enjoyed my meal.
View on GoogleThe food is nice, its my comfort restaurant w/ family for years. And every time, the meals are always so good, my favourite are Bakpau Telur Asin, Kwetiau, and Siomay. The pizza and and steak are the favourite here. The place gives off nostalgic feeling, it never changes.
View on GoogleLooking for some great food to boost our mood after being left by train and recommended to try this, Happy Day. It's strategic location, not to far from Gambir Station. The atmosphere was unique, hommy enough. The friendliness demonstrated by the doorman greeted and every staff cheers up, just enough to make our mood to back in place. The choice of menus from tradional Indonesian Cuisine to Chinese and Western, I believe you will find your own favorite. I choosed to ask Lamb Fried Chicken with extra chillies, and just I wished for, the rawit chillies were dominated my plate. For sure on other occassion and if I get here around Gambir, I will love to come again. Thank you for the great food, great service, keep it up always as a priority
