A legendary Chinese restaurant founded in 1925. It’s tucked away deep in a narrow alley, so it can be hard to find, but the food is excellent. They offer a wide variety of pork dishes, and their noodles are especially famous.

Perhaps the best food are not always have to be the most delicious food you ever tasted, but simply just being feels like your home cooking could justify them. There are only 3 (three) big tables and less than 10 (ten) small tables are avaiable and open only from 9 am to 5 pm, this restaurant feels like your private grandpa kitchen. Some food are good and tasty like Lindung cah Fumak, some just not my taste (everybody taste could be different). The location quite hidden away from the main street, but the loyal customers keep this 100 (one hundred) years old small restaurant stay standing and still serve their fine dishes.

Very authentic place to have Chinese food! The dishes were amazing and felt really smooth, as in it didn’t contain much MSG. The mushroom sizes on the Mapo Tahu were very big and the tofu itself tasted silky and fresh. They also serve frogs here, which I wanted to try, but unfortunately they ran out. From personal experience, if you want to order a pork dish, I recommend not trying the fried pork one, as it’s nothing to write home about, it just tastes like nuggets. Better if you order something that more accentuates the taste of pork (which I wanted to do, but since I didn’t know what some of the things on the menu said, I went and blindly ordered a random pork dish). Atmosphere wise, this is the oldest Hakka restaurant in Jakarta and you could definitely feel that vibe as the restaurant is located in a traditional Chinese longhouse. The location makes for a great reason to visit Glodok’s intricate alleys which has a lot of heritage if you’re a history buff.

Old school chinese restaurant. Located at Glodok area. You must going into the little gang to find the place. The restaurant have limited seats so it is just for eat-only visit. This restaurant is not wheelchair friendly. Ask the waitress for the price, they don’t share the price on the menu. They serve medium and large portion. All the item that we ordered had authentic Chinese foods flavors. They serve free flow tea pot and you can share with as much as your friend who come with you.
