My first visit to Gajah Mada Food Street quickly became one of my favorite spots in Jakarta. I really liked the relaxed atmosphere, and it felt like a nice place to sit back and catch up with friends over a meal. Being away from the main street also gives it a quieter feel, which made the whole experience even better for me.

Great food court that takes credit card! There are a variety of cuisines here, including Indonesian, Chinese, Japanese, Middle Eastern and fusion. There is a convenient system in which each vendor gives you a seperate receipt and you can pay it all at once at the central cash register by credit card. The foods were also really delicious. Definitely get the crispy chicken skewers with mozzarella, the fried tofu and the falafel!

such an unique dining experience. this place use an open space concept, but the place divided by road lane. the food itself is generally consisted of 'makanan kekinian' (trend foods). but there's also a touch of classic chinese cuisine. food taste is okay, price is reasonable, and ample parking space.

The best food street in Central Jakarta. Here you can find Chinese, Western, local, and all types of food, plus a very good collection of drinks as well. Environment is really beautiful with live music performance in the background. The best place to sit and have dinner.

Ambience is OK. Various food choices are available at reasonable prices. Location is easy to find. Parking lot is also huge to accommodate many cars or motorcycles. There's also live musics at night, but the sound system is bit too loud especially if you sit near the stages.
