Really love the vibe of, I'm not sure what that is, is it old Kowloon City in Hong Kong, or Chinatown hundreds of years ago, but it was grear. Nice vibe of old Chinatown, and lots of Chinese, Asian and even Beers inside Petak enam. The place have is semi outdoor and have no AC, unless some restaurant inside. But to have good food and hang out with friends and drink some beer will be the right place to be. Me and my family tried Nasi Campur in Sedap Wangi. They have grilled pork belly, and Chasieuw and Roast Duck. Those were awesome. Then we had Choipan in Bandar Choipan, really nice. The Nasi Goreng and Kwetiau Goreng too. Then we had Durian Goreng in Johor Seafood Porridge, this one was really out of the box and a must try when visit Petak enam. Ow not too forget Siomay Lin. They have siomay Babi (pork), Ikan (fish) and Ayam (chicken)

Petak Enam (inside Chandra) is one of the most iconic and popular food halls in the heart of Glodok’s Chinatown area. More than just a culinary destination, it has evolved into a community space that carries the historical character of the neighborhood. The building combines classic European colonial architecture from the historic Chandra building with distinctive Chinese elements such as red and gold lanterns, creating a unique and visually appealing atmosphere. One thing that stands out is the clear separation and signage for halal and non-halal food options, making it easier for visitors to choose comfortably. The overall setting is highly Instagrammable, with many corners that work well for photos while enjoying the lively food scene.

One of culinary center in Glodok. Mostly are Chinese and Melayu foods. Lot of tenants to taste. I came on Saturday night which is so crowded, hard to find available seating. Overall, it is nice place to explore various foods.

I came with friends on Sunday when Petak 6 was facing Imlak, so.. Crowded? Yes! But the red things hanging beautify the environment... The food is great! Just do not expect to be served soon.
