Hats off to the owner who is friendly and hands-on in serving customers. They also employ elderly people, and most of the employees have stayed for decades. The canteen is about 35 years old and some employees have been there since it first opened, like Bu Juju at the cashier and a few of the servers there. This canteen is truly legendary, it first opened in 1990, when I was 7 years old. Qadarallah wa maasyaa fa'al, this canteen is still around (it's been 35 years), and some of its employees are still here. Likewise the owner (bu margono), who is already elderly, still personally serves new customers and loyal customers who come to enjoy the signature dishes at the canteen. Barakallahu fiikum

Half portion of rice 8k, mushrooms 8k, omelette 9k. Total 25k. A bit pricey, but forgivable because the seasoning is rich and tasty. Getting warm rice early in the morning, not bad at all

I think it's expensive... Black coffee + peanuts + mineral water = Rp. 18.000 (that could get you 1 meal at a warteg)
