It’s been quite a while, maybe a couple of years since my last visit here, and yesterday I finally came back while visiting a friend nearby. I still absolutely love their outdoor area. The whole place feels so comfortable, calming, and refreshing, especially with all the greenery and plants surrounding the space. One thing I always look forward to is their bottled coffee. I usually bring home around 5–10 bottles to stock at home because they’re just that good. My favorites are: * Caribbean (Rum) * Berries * Apple Cold Brew Honestly, all of them are beyond great and super refreshing. Tanatap continues to be one of those places I’ll always love coming back to ☕🌿✨

A coffeeshop that makes Meruya proud. The ambience is excellent—so chill and refreshingly green. Everywhere you look, the space feels aesthetic and inviting. It feels even more charming when it rains, making the atmosphere perfect for romanticizing the moment. However, some seating areas are a bit uncomfortable. As a coffee lover, I enjoyed their Americano, but the bottled pandan latte was disappointing because it was too sweet and the coffee taste was too light. Overall, it’s still a nice place to visit for the ambience and relaxing vibe.

Finally, I was there this morning. Tanatap Meruya carries a distinctive history because it was the original RAD+ar office, a place where Antonius Richard and his young studio first tested many of the experimental, climate‑driven ideas that later defined their practice. As RAD+ar grew and relocated, the Meruya site was transformed rather than abandoned, evolving into the popular Tanatap café that now anchors the neighbourhood. Its conversion into a "cave-like" retreat reflects Richard’s ongoing interest in reimagining small urban spaces, turning his former workspace into an accessible cultural venue that carries forward the studio’s spirit of experimentation and community-building, especially for youth.

A comfortable spot for WFC and casual snacking. I came around 10 a.m., and the atmosphere felt nicely balanced, not too crowded and not too quiet. The space is cool and cozy, with both indoor and outdoor seating. The indoor area has a slightly dim, moody concept that creates a calm vibe. Upstairs, there is a section that seems less frequently used by guests, making it a great choice if you are looking for a quieter place to focus or work. I ordered an iced lychee tea and animal fries. Both were enjoyable, though not particularly outstanding. One downside is that the drinks are served in plastic cups instead of glasses, which feels less eco-friendly and slightly reduces the overall aesthetic. Overall, Tanatap can still be a good option for hanging out or working from a café in the Meruya area. Reviewed by tantharichew ᵔᴥᵔ

I always love to go here, it’s like a go-to coffeeshop near my house. I like the ambience as well the coffee, especially I really enjoy drinking manual brew and their coffee beans taste really good. It fits for work or even hangout with family. Overall, I love everything about Tanatap💚 very recommended
