A flavorful Indonesian restaurant with bold sambal and quality ingredients. The food comes out fresh and well-presented, and the overall experience feels satisfying.
View on GoogleFirst time visit at Waroeng SS in Greenville area. Atmosphere was not as crowd as at others restaurant nearby. We went on lunch time around 12.30 the parking lot not so spacious but ok. Sink area was clean and smell good. We order fried lele, ayam bakar, terong tepung, jamur tepung, kangkung balacan, kangkung cah, fried eels, ice choco, mango juice and sambal mangga. I do like sambal mangga since it always fresh. I recommend this restaurant for the authentic foods, delicious taste, and affordable price. Please avoid lunch time on the weekend as they may be crowded and you will be on their waiting list. 😄👍 I do like sambal mangga since it always fresh.
View on GoogleAlways crowded. If you bring a car, the parking space was pretty small. The waiters always work fast The food is very affordable They have a lot of sambals menu I usually ordered 3 sambals for 2 people. Is better to order everything at once, because the additional order will take a while to be served. And bring some cash because their EDC doesn't work sometimes. -1 star because hygiene could be improved.
View on GoogleOne of my favourite restaurants in Jakarta. The best place to eat Javanese food. Their foods are really yummy with a large variety of sambel. The best sambel ever. I personally love sambel bawang goreng and Sambel lombok ijo. Their chicken taste is out of this world.highly recommended to try this resto for some yummy spicy foods
View on GoogleWarung Special Sambal is a place to visit when you want to feel a piece of Yogyakarta. The one in Greenville is okay, but I guess the foods are a bit too salty, even though that would be nice to eat with steamy rice. The best thing you can find here is the various sambal, there are around 20 variations that is always good to try. I like the crispy eggplant. Had to give 4 stars because when I visit the place, the water isn't flowing on the sink so i find it hard to clean my hands after eating. Overall, service is okay.
