Tried this eatery across from Starbucks and it didn’t disappoint. They’re very generous in terms of shrimps usage. Their mie kuah has a distinct sweet and light flavor. Their mie goreng terasi is boldly spicy. Their seafood balls complement the cuisines well. I will be back for their carbs with terasi (shrimp paste).
View on GoogleThe Singaporean prawn noodle is their signature dish, and it is really tasty. It includes 3 pieces of prawn, prawn balls and a slice of pork. The broth is rich and sweet, the prawns are fresh. The other toppings really elevate the whole experience. Costs 50k for a bowl. I have tried Mie Jawa and Mie Belacan too. Both are very rich and flavorful, definitely worth trying. Too bad the location doesn't have a good SIM Card signal/reception.
View on GoogleMy favorite Prawn Noodle/Mee in Jakarta. Still taste its best especially the broth which is so rich with prawn flavor. The meatball is also the key element here, so tasty and like nothing else out there. Try Mee or kwetiau with Terasi (Indonesian special spices) all you, spicy food maniac... You'll love it. ;) Giving 4 stars for the portion which is lesser now compare to the past.
View on GoogleMie Goreng Terasi is good, flavorful. They are generous with the prawns, but I feel an addition of crispy pork fats (grabyas) will make it better. It took quite long for the noodle to be served so you can wait while munching on the giant Opak. The Singapore prawn noodle is just so so for me. The soup lacks oomph. The ones in Singapore is much better. Haven't tried the other dishes, though. The restaurant is quite basic but clean & air conditioned. Price is a bit high but still OK.
View on GoogleBeen coming here to eat since the 1990s. Typical dishes ordered are Mie goreng terasi, nasi goreng (with egg on top), and mie udang Singapore. Highly recommend these, especially the first two, for anyone who's nearby the vicinity. The Mie goreng terasi is both flavorful and spicy to the taste, while the nasi goreng is truly aromatic that should not dissapoint most fried rice lovers. Both dishes also come with bakso goreng Udang that my kid likes
