So far this have been the most favorite seafood place in Greenville area, West Jakarta. The place is clean and bright and opens around 16.30 in the afternoon. The staff is also very welcoming, and fast response as well. You can order directly at the front for the fresh seafood produces or you can order from inside the additional dishes. I would personally recommend their Terong Sambalado as its a game changer 😻 it has a smoky aroma but also spicy at the same time. I also like their Boiled Fresh Shrimp, it will be served alongside with a pineapple peanut sambal which is very fresh and paired with the plump shrimp it is a must! Parking could be hard when its during peak hours.
View on GoogleWe actually ended up here by accident after running some errands around Tanjung Duren. While strolling around Greenville, this restaurant caught our eye, looked pretty busy from the outside, which is always a good sign. So we thought, why not give it a try? We ordered Padang-style crab, salted egg shrimp, kangkung, and grilled squid. And surprise, they also gave us complimentary sayur asem and fried mantau! Every single dish we ordered was delicious. Totally hit the spot. rich, savory, and full of umami goodness. The salted egg shrimp was a standout, especially with that crispy, savory crumb topping (seriously addictive!). And the best part? The price is still affordable. Great value for the portion sizes, we left full and happy. Definitely recommend this place, and we’ll absolutely be back next time we’re in the West Jakarta area!
View on GoogleMarco Seafood, particularly known in Jakarta as "Grand Marco Seafood," is a highly regarded casual seafood establishment that has built a solid reputation for offering fresh, high-quality catches in a comfortable, family-friendly environment. It is not affiliated with a large corporate business group, but rather functions as an independently managed restaurant that has successfully expanded its footprint, with well-known branches in areas like Kelapa Gading and Green Ville. Because the brand has grown across multiple districts, the Green Ville branch is not the original or single flagship location, but it is a consistent, well-established outlet that mirrors the brand's commitment to clean, air-conditioned dining—a distinct advantage over more traditional, smoke-filled seafood warungs. The menu at Grand Marco Seafood focuses on a wide variety of fresh, locally sourced seafood, ranging from live tanks to standard market-fresh selections. Main dishes are heavily centered on classic Indonesian preparations, with customers frequently ordering fish grilled with savory kecap (soy sauce) glazes, various styles of squid, including crispy salted egg versions, and popular shellfish dishes like kerang kepah cooked in Padang, tauco, or oyster sauce. Specialties often cited by diners include their fresh live seafood selections—which sometimes feature promotions or discounts—and a variety of crispy, comforting sides such as kangkung (water spinach) and crispy tofu dishes. The restaurant is particularly well-known for providing complementary extras, such as their refreshing sayur asem, which is a staple addition to many family meals. The price range at Grand Marco Seafood is widely considered very affordable and offers excellent value for the quality provided. Prices for individual dishes often fall into the range of IDR 40,000 to IDR 100,000, making it an accessible option for both casual dinners and large family gatherings where many dishes are shared. Visitor comments are consistently positive, frequently praising the restaurant’s cleanliness, comfortable air-conditioned seating, and the consistent freshness of the ingredients. Many reviews highlight it as a preferred destination for large groups because of its ability to handle big orders efficiently while maintaining a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. An interesting fact about the establishment is its focus on elevating the classic "seafood warung" experience by removing the traditional grease and heavy smoke often associated with street-side grilling, opting instead for a modern, cleaner, and more comfortable environment that allows diners to enjoy their seafood at a leisurely pace.
View on GoogleSeafood resto that is value for money, orginally from Medan. Boiled Shrimp (0.5kg), Fried Squid with salted egg, Fried Eggplant are my top choices. For fish, try Grilled Alu Fish with green chili sauce (sauce can be separated). Order first before entering restaurant, you are given with a number, then pick your table.
