I finally tried the butter tteok and it definitely lived up to the hype! The texture is perfect, crunchy on the outside and soft, mochi-like on the inside and the dipping sauce is a must-try. My only gripe is the stock; I arrived at noon and all the savory salt bread was already sold out. I settled for the chocolate salt bread instead, which was delicious, but I’m really hoping they restock the savory ones soon! Also, be prepared for a bit of a parking struggle. On the plus side, they offer a 10% discount for in-store purchases!

If your main criteria for good salt bread is the crunch, then this is the best one in town. Would recommend the original, triple cheese, and especially the kinako, which was extra chewy due to the gooey mochi inside. The garlic one was too sweet for something I was expecting to be savoury, the walnut cheese was just ok, and the almond wasn’t as crisp as the rest. The salt bagel was more bagel than salt bread in the sense that it was like a regular bagel but with firmer skin, but it wasn’t crunchy like a salt bread. The dubai chewy cookie was pretty good, the skin was stretchy and not too thin, but the filling can be dry and a bit too sweet sometimes.

Recommended by a friend who said it’s better than the famous salt bread in Blok M and I agree 😉. Even though I only got to try the OG (limited variants left), I loved it. The taste was just perfect. Definitely coming back to try more!

Got a special delivery from a friend, he called me to try this salt bread. First of all I was impressed by the packaging, nice design and color combination, then when I opened the box, there is 6 kinds of breads. I tried the salted bread first cause I just came back from Korea and still remember one of the famous salted bread shop in Seoul. CHULOS nail it, the outside is firm and the inside is moist and fluffy, they also used coarse salt that makes it more yummy. When I ask our family to tried the other bread, all of them loved it. Next time will go to the shop directly. Finally I got there and ordered some salt bread, garlic bread and canele
