The most sophisticated and organized specialty coffee cafe I've ever been to. Going to this cafe was like an adventure in itself, the few hours I was in that cafe, I learnt so much about coffee. They have three main selection of coffee beans to choose from and you get to choose to use which one for your drink. Their menu offers a lot of diverse options for coffee and non-coffee drinkers such as their signature boon latte (highly recommend), to their fresh matcha latte made the traditional way using a hand whisk. Some may say that three coffee beans isn't enough but here, they have dozens more that are used for manual brew (tastes amazing) and can be requested to be used for the espresso. All their coffee beans are roasted by themselves in their very own roastery. Some of the beans have even won awards in international competitions. You can really taste the flavor notes that are described in the packaging everytime you take a sip. An entire shelf is even dedicated for tools that are used to make coffee starting from spoons for cupping all the way up to custom milk jugs for steaming milk. The food there is also good especially the chicken teriyaki and their soto ayam, though if you feel like there isnt much to order from then you can also order from the kopitiam beside the cafe which is actually owned by the same owner as boon cafe. Speaking of the owner, his certificates are framed on the walls and I didn't even know that many certificates for coffee existed. He has been selected as a judge for an international competition before and has won many brewing and roasting tournaments aswell. The cafe has soft music playing in the background so it definetely makes the atmosphere more soothing aswell as allowing for easy conversations. The place is very clean and the waiters are very attentive, cleaning tables and helping people. The baristas here are really nice, giving me recommendations to which beans i should try and the best drinks to buy. I ended up picking the Ethiopia Rumudamu Natural which was so good it might be my favorite bean of all time. If you're ever around the area and you're looking for cheap but high quality coffee then come here. It is a place like no other.
