Similar but not the same. That is the description for Soto Semarang Metro. It looks the same, but the taste still lacks of umamy, savoury, the richness of the soup from the original soto in Semarang. Maybe they trying to serve for the locals or Jakartans, who don't like a sweet taste in their food. However, with all the supplemental foods were available there, such as quail egg satay, blood cockle satay or it has a name Anadara Granosa ( it is a clam) and also potato friters. All of these makes this dish looks autentic from the original food, but then again it looks similar, but not with the taste.

Good traditional taste food, they have soto, nasi rames, gado-gado and gorengan, all delicious altough the price is higher than others but the place is clean. Recomended.

The best Soto semarang in Town, sate is very nice. The owner and the staff is very friendly. Will be back next time.

Takeaway food for lunch, try the soto ayam and some fried side dish...not bad and not expensive as well
