Ordered Katong laksa, fried dragon balls, and iced coffee. The Katong laksa was completely off. The color was wrong, the smell was wrong, and the taste was wrong. After 12 years living in Singapore, I can confidently say I’ve never eaten anything like this and been told it’s Katong laksa. There was no shrimp flavour at all, barely any spice, and the soup tasted like plain coconut milk with a slight sour note. The noodles were also incorrect — instead of thick rice vermicelli, they felt more like glass noodles, ruining the texture entirely. The toppings were strange too. What is that black ingredient supposed to be? It definitely doesn’t belong in Katong laksa. The iced coffee was watered down and forgettable. The only decent item was the fried dragon balls. I’d consider ordering those again — but honestly, I doubt I’ll be back. Worst of all was the atmosphere. A group of extremely loud diners behaved like unsupervised children, completely destroying the dining experience. I couldn’t even hear what the waitress was saying. Overall: not authentic, poorly executed, and misleading. If you’re looking for real Singaporean kopitiam food, this isn’t it.

I was there on last saturday and I tried some of their dimsum and signature dishes and they were good and I especially like their drinks jali jali. This place also very nice for hang out with friends or colleagues because they have plenty of seats and wifi is stable. They also have indoor and outdoor seats and their price is reasonable.

Tried the singapore chili noodle and malacca kaya toast, it was quite tasty. But the ketan hitam dessert taste was ok only. Had the ice americano and kopi butter..was quite ok. But what amazes me was the services, the staff was very friendly, humble and helpful.

I like the Kwetiau Goreng and Es Ketan Hitam very much, for first timer we could even get free ice tea 💯. Recommended to try.
