THE MOST GENEROUS MIE WITH SOOOO MUCH CHICKEN!! 🍜❤️ This is a delicious, legendary noodle stall that never fails! Even though it’s around IDR 75K per bowl, I’d say it’s definitely worth the money because of how generous the portion is, especially with the chicken! They still use the same recipe from years ago, which I really love. I’ve been eating here since my university days, and the taste has stayed consistently good. The staff are also really friendly and welcoming. You’ll see lots of local customers who have been coming here for years, which says a lot about how well-loved this place is. They can sell out pretty quickly because they open from the morning, so I’d recommend coming early if you don’t want to miss it! Definitely one of those legendary noodle spots that’s worth trying.

I give this place a solid 4 out of 5. The noodles are clearly well prepared, with a good texture and generous serving size. The dish isn’t overwhelmingly oily, which can sometimes happen with Chinese-style noodles. The flavors come through cleanly instead of being masked by grease. The broth has a pleasant taste with a nice balance of umami but a bit overly salty. When I visited, however, the broth was a bit thicker than I expected. It still worked with the dish, but a slightly lighter consistency might make it even better. Price-wise, it’s a little higher than the average for similar noodle spots, but the quality and portion make it worth it overall. The main downside is the dining space. It’s reasonably clean, but the area can feel hot and cramped. That said, some people might actually enjoy that as part of the authentic, bustling noodle-shop experience.

One of the best bakmi ayam in Jakarta! Don’t let the chicken broth fool you.. It may look plain but the chicken flavour is out of this world! Service is great as they will take your orders when you are queuing for a table if it’s busy. Owners always greet me with enthusiasm!

One of the reasons I miss Jakarta—this bakmi! 🍜 It’s seriously delicious, with perfectly cooked noodles and a rich, thick, flavorful broth. That comforting taste instantly reminds me of Jakarta. Definitely one of those dishes that makes me miss the city even more. Highly recommended!

AMAZING Bakmi karet! Love the broth especially, crazy chicken portions, and addictive wontons/dumplings. Place is always packed, almost always out of stock if arrive late, come in the mornings for better experience. Food always served quick and simple.
