Taeyangsung was established in Jakarta in 2019, with the expertise of crafting and serving Korean Style Noodle with a tweak of modernized flavors. Taeyangsung’s irresistible Jjamppong, Jjajang, Tangsooyook, and Kkanpoonggi would indulge your palate in a very deep craving.

Good food and great service! The food is delicious, especially the jjampong, and it offers great value for money. The staff are incredibly helpful and quick to respond. While the space is somewhat limited and the tables are a bit too close to each other, they thoughtfully provide hooks under the tables to hang your bag safely. It usually gets crowded with a waiting list during peak hours, but it is definitely worth it.

Awesome Korean noodles! One if not the best noodles I’ve had, really love the noodles! Sauce is amazing to go with the noodles (ordered a jjajangmyeon), and portions are more than plentiful. Staff are nice and helpful; staff are professional and quick to help, place is pretty nice, but the speakers are a bit too loud with the music and once a while the speaker just bursts with an unpleasant noise (thrice in my visit), otherwise amazing!

Because we arrived at Iftar, the staff put us in a queue. Their hospitality was very good. As for the food, we chose the Kkanponggi; the taste was excellent and a bit spicy. We had higher expectations for the Ddeokbokki, but it was a bit bland and the sauce wasn't thick enough. But overall, all the food are good.

The place was pretty packed on a saturday afternoon. I got their haemul jjamppong and tangsooyook. First time trying jjamppong, they were pretty good but the toppings weren't that much. The chicken was okay too. The seating was really cramped and the service was okay. Overall everything was good but in my opinion it's a bit pricy.

Just tried the newly opened Taeyang Sung at Central Park! The noodles are delicious and definitely worth the visit. Since I went during the weekend, the waiting time for the food was about 10 minutes, which is quite reasonable for a busy period. I also really loved their pickles—they add a great touch to the meal. A solid new spot to check out!
