Pingoo at Neo Soho offers a unique dining experience that blends casual comfort food with an engaging atmosphere, especially for families and animal lovers. Located within the Neo Soho Mall, this restaurant stands out not just for its seafood-centered menu but also for the chance to view penguins up close through a glass enclosure — a rare and fun feature for a mall restaurant. During our visit, we tried the fish curry and fish and chips, both of which were satisfying. The fish curry had a nice balance of spice and creaminess, while the fish and chips were crispy and served hot, with a portion size that felt just right. Considering it’s located in a mall, the pricing felt reasonable and aligned well with the quality of food and setting provided. The service was also commendable. The staff were polite and attentive without being overbearing, which helped make our meal enjoyable and stress-free. One of the highlights of the visit was watching the penguin parade — a charming and unexpected feature that adds a bit of magic, especially for those visiting with children. Overall, Pingoo at Neo Soho delivers a delightful combination of good food, friendly service, and a memorable environment. It’s definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for something a bit different while shopping or spending time at the mall.
View on GoogleA unique restaurant and definitely one of a kind in Jakarta. Dine right next to penguins. Paid extra to get the penguin feeding experience and it was worth it! Got pictures taken and framed as souvenir also. Food was so-so but that doesn’t matter because we’re there for the experience. My 2 year old loved it. Definitely will come back!
View on GoogleEverything we ordered was absolutely delicious! Mom had the grilled chicken kecombrang with butter rice, and I went with the chicken lasagna, both were so, so good! I also tried the capybara pudding, and it was perfecto! Not too sweet, with the perfect jiggly texture 🦫. Watching the penguins while we ate was such a fun and delightful bonus 🥰🐧💙
