My favorite japanese resto!!! Must try their lunch set and yakitori! The lunch set is super duper good, you can try many things for only around 120k ish. Sashimi nya super fresh and handrollnya enak! Yakitorinya juga enak banget, especially yang beef w/ mochi.
View on GoogleInwent few times in Hub Life and now tried this one. The ambiance is way better but needs attention, brightness of the place inside and music need to be taken care of, music was perfect the style but many times went OFF. Food was good but doesn't match the pricenij my opinion, of course the expenses in Tribeca are high and the place can't be cheap, but should have better portion, example the onigiri were nothing that a piece of fried pan hard rice with a little piece of fish on top, nothing inside. We had a good experience in the end, all this are my personal point of view, the place have potential but need to be managed in a higher level even if it's in a mall complex, staff uniform, service training, ambiance, music, all can be elevated for a better experience.
View on GoogleWe ordered 2 "omakase" lunch pack It cost around 120k+ / person The food all around was okay. But sadly, they delivered it to us in a platter manner instead of cooking in front of us. Which the core part of "omakase" dining experience. So it was more suitable to be called as sample platter. Since they delivered the plate to us, the waiting time is incredibly long. It was around 40+ minutes and we also had to wait to be seated in for 15 minutes. Also the restaurant at the time was not that busy. The service also disappointing. We can see many clean empty table for 2 pax, but they had to tell us to wait for more minutes. The only thing that kept me put this review not under 1 star is because we only taste the "omakase" pack.
View on GoogleThis is my second time here, bring my friends because this place was so recommended. The food was good. I choose the omakase one. And fun fact, if 2 pax or more, will get salmon / chicken skin (i dont remember exactly) per table. Just go run to the nearby branch now & try by urself.
View on GoogleDecided to have lunch here after seeing their ads frequently on social media. When we arrived, we queued for a table but were suddenly cut in line by a couple. They were served first by the staff and given a proper table, while we were seated at the bar. I wasn’t planning to make a big deal out of it, but the bar turned out to be quite uncomfortable — the chairs were wobbly, the edges felt sharp, the space was cramped (our feet kept hitting the bar), and the overhead lighting was too bright. Despite the rough start, we tried to stay positive and enjoy the omakase we had been looking forward to. However, it became apparent that the preparation behind the counter lacked organization. We could clearly hear the staff discussing how many portions they still needed to prepare. Some wore gloves, some didn’t, and none had hair or mouth coverings. They handled the food with bare hands while talking directly over it, which was quite off-putting. We waited around 20 minutes for our food. We ordered the special hand-rolled sushi, which was nicely presented in a 3×3 wooden box. At first glance, the portions looked decent, with a variety of sushi and maki. Taste-wise, everything was just average — nothing really stood out. The sashimi didn’t feel very fresh, while the sushi and maki were passable, with mayonnaise doing most of the heavy lifting. Even the salad was bland, the watermelon wasn’t sweet, and the drinks were surprisingly flat in flavor. The only highlight was the dashi soup. Overall, it wasn’t the worst omakase experience you can have in a mall, but definitely far from the best. It didn’t feel worth the money. The experience itself was also disappointing, especially after being cut in line and seeing the staff allow it. I guess it’s true what they say — you get what you pay for. And maybe social media reviews aren’t always something you should trust.
