In the heart of Jakarta, Mamasays is a cozy haven where the wisdom of mothers - "Eat first, play later" - comes to life. Here, amidst warm minimalist decor, diverse groups find a sanctuary for connection.

Visiting Mamasays Restaurant & Board Game at Central Park Mall 2 (used to be Neo Soho) to play board games with my friends. They not only offers board games but also foods to be enjoyed while playing the games. I ordered Kai Pad Met Mamuang (savory Thai stir-fried chicken, tossed in sweet spicy sauce with cashews and crowned with a fried egg) and Pao De Queijo (the Brazilian cheese bread, captivates with its irresistibly chewy texture and cheesy allure, making it super hard to enjoy just one!). Overall, the place isn't too big but also either too small. Food preparation time is pretty adequate, board games options also pretty vary and staffs is pretty attentive. Nice place to hangout with family and friends to enjoy foods and board games. For this visit to Mamasays Restaurant & Board Game Central Park Mall 2, I'm gonna rate them 3.5 out of 5. The place is cozy and perfect for hanging out. They have a lot of board games to choose from, and it was really fun spending time there with my friends. The staff is super helpful — they guided us through the games we didn’t know or understand, which made the experience even better. Great spot for game night.

The food is unique, its niche. Authentic i must say with the uniqueness, just not fit with my tongue. Im talking about my korean creamy spaghetti, it used gochujang in the creamy sauce. However tho its not fit, somehowwwww i keep wanting to munch it and munch it. Anyway your waitresses are mostly passive like they are interns that just started as fnb crew? I tried to enter, yet no one welcomed, i need to ask wether i can just come in and sit? In front of a waiter outside who looked me, and ignoring me. Its ok, just usually not like that, is it not?

Mamasays is such a fun spot to hang out! It’s a board game café with a huge selection of games to choose from, and the game masters really know their stuff — they’re super helpful in explaining and recommending games based on your group’s vibe. The desserts are also a highlight — beautifully served and taste just as good as they look! Whether you’re into strategy games, party games, or just want to chill with friends over good food and fun, this place is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended for spending time with your friends!
