No doubt one of the best katsu in town, but compare to others, i might say this one has a little bit generous portion. Presentation was also great! Highly recommend Gyukatsu cheese, Chicken katsu cheese and try their Chicken katsu sambal matah, very nice! Just 1 issue, the miso soup is a bit too salty
View on GoogleWe came in around 8.30-9.00 pm, and there was an issue where the waiters forgot to put in our order. We waited about 10–15 minutes with no food, and then a waiter came back to our table asking if we wanted to order. I explained that we had already ordered, and that’s when I noticed our table didn’t have the order slip. At that moment, they quickly rushed to input our order into the system. Then I asked them to place the slip on our table, and it showed the order just entered a minute ago. They told us the food would be ready in another 10–15 minutes. Honestly, it was a bit frustrating. I think it would have been much better if the staff acknowledged their mistake right away and explained they would fix it as quickly as possible. Acknowledging the mistakes and showing action to resolve it would have made the situation feel more professional and would have validated my frustration. The food did came out fast and tasted good.
View on GoogleWent there n almost crashed out over how mid the food was lmfao. I ordered the gyukatsu cheese set (131K+tax) and what came was a sad, bready, and salty mess. The price was a tad bit higher than K*mukatsu but oh my god the serving size was criminally small! ..and the taste? No comment. Was I full? Yeah Was it because I ate a lot? Heck no! The katsu's breading was so thick and hard I couldn't even taste the meat (which was, by the way, too thin for a dish that's literally called "Beef Katsu") The cheese was not the melty kind but instead it was an overly salty block of cheese that needed too much chewing for my liking. The saltiness of the cheese and the hardness of the breading made me wonder if this was a failed attempt to make mozzarella sticks lol. The mini stove worked fine, but the fire was too small so it took forever to cook one slice of katsu. I don't know, maybe I just got a bad batch or something. The next thing I ordered was a Guava drink, which tasted just like one of those sachet drinks.. *ahem* N-sari. I don't know, maybe they're just that good at making drinks. I love N-sari anyways. Not sure if I'd pay 29K+taxes for it, though. I also ordered a caramel pudding (19K+tax) for dessert, the sauce tasted a little bit burnt and it was a little too heavy for my liking. Nevertheless, it was the best thing I ate in this resto Quite ironic for the pudding to taste the best in a resto that claimed to have "the real katsu", or whatever. But hey, at least the waiters were (sort of) friendly, even though they didn't stay on the host stand and kept standing near the kitchen area so I had some trouble calling for the bill. One of them gave me the stank eye for some reason but it's probably because I refused to apply for the stupid membership. I left feeling full but not satisfied. I even ate at another resto just to cleanse my palate over whatever the hell I just experienced here. Spent 200K+something here to eat all by myself and that was my experience. Outrageous, if I may say so. I'm not struggling financially by any means, but it wasn't worth the price at all. Sorry
View on GoogleOrdered chicken katsu set, hamburg with cheese, and tempeh katsu for dinner. Hamburg is a little small, but the give 2 pieces instead of one. I like the tempeh katsu, since it is something special, that I only see it here. Chicken katsu is alright, with the katsu sauce. They provide katsu sauce, sesame sauce and chilli sauce to go along with the katsu. Depending on your preference. Overall, it is a good place with reasonable price. It is recommended and I will come again when I visit Jakarta.
View on GoogleWe ate there for late lunch about 2.30pm on a weekend and there was a 10 minute wait to be seated. Only after being seated and ordering, we were then told they were out of beef katsu, beef teriyaki, salad, and potatoes (which was what we ordered). We then changed our orders to realize the portions were really small. I don't think I'll be coming back.
