It is absolutely worth the price! There’s so much to experience, admire, and learn here, even as an adult, I was genuinely amazed. The animals seem to be in very good condition, well cared for, not stressed, and properly maintained. I really hope the management continues to prioritize animal welfare like this. The variety is impressive! The jellyfish are absolutely beautiful, the stingrays are adorable, and the main star of the day for me was definitely the binturong (bearcat). It even smells like pandan?! So cute, fluffy, and unforgettable! This place is perfect for all ages, from kids to adults. They also have capybaras (super cute!) and feeding sessions available (with additional payment), which adds to the overall experience. Highly recommended for a fun and educational day out!

5★ Review for Jakarta Aquarium & Safari went to Jakarta Aquarium & Safari with my husband and our 5-month-old baby and we had such a great time! the place is baby-friendly and super clean, which made it easy for us with the baby. we loved walking through all the exhibits — so many kinds of mammals and animals to see. my baby was mesmerized by the fish and colorful lights, and we enjoyed the bird and mammal sections too. bonus: there was also a penguin show! it was super cute and well organized, even our little one was happily watching the penguins waddle around. staff were friendly and helpful, and there are plenty of spots to rest if you’re bringing a little one. definitely a fun and relaxing day out for the whole family. highly recommend if you’re looking for a family-friendly activity in Jakarta!

It’s not that big as my expectations, but there are a lot to see anyway. Because it’s located on the mall that’s why it’s not that wide. There is also a mermaid show and they organized the show very well, so that everyone can have the good place to sit and watch the show. At the entrance gate there will be a camera on and take the picts of the visitors and in the middle of the stair too, in the end you can choose what picts you want and pay, I don’t remember how much. After all it’s worth to visit and spend a short holiday with friends or family.

We had an amazing experience at Jakarta Aquarium, all the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. A special huge thanks to Evelyn and Debby ❤️ Evelyn, our dive guide, she was incredibly patient, friendly, and supportive throughout the entire dive experience. I had a bit of difficulty equalising and felt dizzy during the dive, and she checked on me to made sure I was okay everytime. Her caring nature combined with her professionalism made me feel safe and comfortable throughout the experience.💕 Debby was just as wonderful. She kindly helped us take photos from outside the tank, and they turned out absolutely beautiful! She truly went the extra mile to make our visit even more special and memorable. Their warmth, genuine hospitality, and dedication to ensure we have a great experience made our visit unforgettable. Thank you, for taking such good care of us and making our visit memorable.. 🩵

Jakarta Aquarium & Safari is one of those places that’s clearly designed to be more than just a typical aquarium, and that shows from the moment you walk in. It’s located inside Neo Soho Mall, so it’s easy to access and fully air-conditioned, which already makes it a good option if you’re trying to escape Jakarta heat for a few hours. The layout is well thought out. Instead of just walking past tanks, you move through themed sections that feel more immersive. Some areas are darker with focused lighting on the tanks, which actually makes the marine life stand out more, while others are more open and interactive. There’s a good mix of species, from smaller reef fish to larger animals like rays and sharks, and the tanks are generally clean and well-maintained. One of the highlights is how interactive the experience is. There are touch pools where you can feel starfish and other marine creatures, and scheduled shows that combine storytelling with animal presentations. It feels more like a curated experience rather than just an exhibit. That said, it can get crowded, especially on weekends, and some of the popular spots can feel a bit packed. The pricing is on the higher side compared to a standard aquarium, but you can see where the money goes in terms of design, maintenance, and overall experience. It’s especially good for families or if you’re visiting Jakarta and want something different from malls or restaurants. Overall, it’s a well-executed indoor attraction that balances education and entertainment. Not the biggest aquarium you’ll ever see, but definitely one of the more polished and engaging ones in Indonesia.
