Mala restaurant with lot of a la carte menu as well. Dinner time might not so good. Lot of topping already ran out (meat, shrimp, some veggies) Ordered Mapo Tofu and Yu Xiang but the taste quite same too alike. Crowded during dinner. Lot of chinese mainland enjoying themselves. No alcohol

Randomly tried a Chinese restaurant specializing in authentic dishes at Hublife. The place isn’t very big but quite comfortable, and most of the customers seem to be Chinese locals living in Indonesia. When I arrived, it wasn’t too crowded yet, but by the time I finished eating, the restaurant was already full and had a waiting list. 1. Sapo Egg The egg is served in a hotpot, giving it a slightly smoky aroma at the bottom. The texture was super soft, with no additional toppings, but very comforting. My toddler loved it so much and even finished half a portion alone. 2. Garlic Fried Chicken I requested no chili, so it wasn’t spicy at all. I really liked this dish — the batter wasn’t too thick, the chicken was tender, savory, and had a nice garlic aroma. The addition of spring onions made it taste fresher. 3. Sweet & Sour Pork Also requested non-spicy. The pork was tender and juicy, with a refreshing sweet and sour flavor. 4. Stir-Fry Mala For this one, you can choose your own ingredients, have them weighed, and decide whether you want it in soup or stir-fried. I chose the stir-fry with medium spice. The seasoning was quite rich, though slightly too salty. A plus point is that there were no whole mala peppercorns in the dish, so you don’t accidentally bite into them.

The foods are delicious and nice. From Malatang Soup until authentic chinese food. Nice decorated restaurant located in HubLife of Mall Taman Anggrek, DAXI is a hidden gem that you must to explore if you are in Jakarta. Reasonable price also.

It's a good restaurant, reasonably priced, but unfortunately they have a roaches problem, should address that. Please fix that

I eat at this great restaurant at least twice a week. But now my clothes smell like food after I eat there. Does that count as takeway? 🤭🤭
