Been so curious to try 88 Seoul each time visiting Central Park Mall, but they always full of enthusiastic crowds that I changed my mind. When my friends really want to try it, we decided to queue (got the table after 40 minutes wait at the time - visiting on June 2025 - pardon the very late review). They're full of mostly families and as the place is kinda small and packed, you need to move carefully. In this visit, we ordered Beef Bulgogi (nice), Ganjang Chicken (delicious) and Yangnyeom Chicken (nice) also set it all to Champion Set. They offer Champion Set (1 rice + 1 main dish + 1 soup + 5 banchan - for 1 person) or Victory Set (2 rices + 1 main dish + 1 Chicken Tangsuyuk / 1 Beef Japchae + 2 soups + 6 banchan - for 2 persons) for some of their menu. Beside this, we also ordered Chicken Tangsuyuk and Haemul Sundubu both are nice to accompany your meals. In my opinion, this place is pretty nice to try if you bypassing the queue. Very good food, nice place, fare price, all was nice, the metal serving dishes are a little bit annoying for some people due to the noise when scratched from chopsticks and spoon, and I will suggest to the workers to look less their handphone and more the guests, was not so dramatic but when needed it's not nice to see the floor service team not having care of their guests. All went fine and we managed to have all, there's always someone ready to step in to assist, and this is the good part.

The food was delicious, the prices were very affordable, and the service was excellent. The staff served our food right on time as promised, which we really appreciated. The restaurant was also clean and well-maintained. Overall, it was a great dining experience. Highly recommended!

Was curious about this place when we walk across and decided to give it a try. Apparently sometimes they have a promotion that allows you to get 1 free side dish alongside with your Set. Usually the menu came with Sets that you can choose and already came with 2 rice, 2 soups and several banchans or side dishes. We ordered the Victory Set and were able to choose 2 main dishes (gochujang chicken and japchae) and the taste was good in our opinion as it was quite authentic. Service were quite good as well, all the staffs were very helpful.

I came on a Sunday afternoon. The restaurant was quite busy, and the waiting list wasn't too long. I ordered beef galbi with japchae and cheese gyeranjjim. So far, so good, nothing disappoints. The food is all delicious, especially the kimchi and danmuji, which are very fresh. The service was friendly and fast. 5 stars to Ms. Fiki and Mr. Panji for their excellent service. Keep up the good work.
