Bakmi Kalimantan Achun This was my first time eating here, although I had tried their bakmi before when they were still at their previous location. The shop is located very close to a garbage disposal area. Because of that, all the staff and the people preparing the noodles wear masks — probably because the smell can be quite strong and also to avoid airborne bacteria. Fortunately, the dining area is inside and air-conditioned, so the smell is not noticeable and it feels comfortable while eating. The only small issue is the sliding door. Many customers leave it open after they finish eating, which lets warm air come in. The bakmi itself is very good. The noodles and toppings work well together, especially when paired with their sour and spicy sambal. The place is always busy and customers keep coming. I was told that the pork bone soup is usually sold out by around 1 PM. There is no parking space for cars, only parking for motorcycles.
View on GoogleGood taste, nice portion and balanced flavour with reasonable price. The bakmie is cooked just right with springy texture, served with perfectly cooked beansprout, minced pork, sliced pork, sliced egg and a few pork skin crackers. Place was clean and very comfortable, food also prepared in a very clean kitchen. A very recommended kalimantan style bakmie.
View on GoogleIt’s my favourite. Being a Borneo borned and raised, this is place serve authentic Kalimantan culinary. My hubby and I love to come to this place for lunch. They serve yam noodle, kwe tiaw, bihun, also they serve beef meatball soup Kalimantan version. Highly recommended. It is hard to get a taste this original well balanced. The freshness of the food that they serve is impeccable. No over cooked tauge - bean sprouts. Hot chicken soup for companion. Note: the soup is steaming hot and peppery. Just the way I like it
