Come here quite often, atleast once until twice a month with a lot of menu ordered in every visit My favourite here is the crispy skin sambak. The skin cost around 22k, with a good amount of skin and its quite big for what it cost. Usually ordered it with level 2 sambal, not only for the skin but also work for extra sambal for the main protein For the protein, usually i ordered the chicken and the catfish. The fried chicken is tasty, not hard to chew, and complete with the sambal and veges. On the other hand, the fried catfish is huge, the taste is good, and the meat is quite soft. I also tried several other menu, the tofu and tempe (its just okay, nothing special), the fried eel with sambal (its hard to chew 🙂 ), the telur barendo (its great but greasy), the jumbo ice tea (this is great beverage to have with sambal dish), and many other For the highlight of the side dish is the cah mushroom and the kangkung sambal. Both was fantastic! Overall, its a good place to eat. The only downside is the cats, a lot of cats in the outdoor area, sometime they tried to climb the chair and table. 🐈
View on GoogleGreat place to get something spicy! For those who is has weak stomach, don't worry it has 3 levels to choose from. It has a order touchscreen machine for you to order if you wish. You may also order from the friendly cashier and pay with card, cash or QRIS. If you hesitate on what to order, you may scan the qr code on the table and go through the menu and price on your phone. Please take note that you still need to pay at the cashier after you place the order on the phone. Personally I like the website, it's user friendly. The taste is great! I ended up order another round of dishes and order another to back to my hotel. You won't be disappointed here (provided that something spicy is your cup of tea of course). And the air-conditioning seating area is cozy!
View on GoogleSambal Bakar Indonesia Grogol is quite crowded. There's indoor and outdoor seats. There's a waiting list during my visit. The food is served after around 10 minutes. I don't like the sambal bawang. The fried duck is quite tasteless. But the fried skin is good. All the drink portions are quite big.
View on GoogleVery crowded and you may have to wait on waiting list, especially if you came here with a lot of people in your group. Once you enter, you just have to scan the barcode on the table. You choose whatever dishes you’d like, and you have to pay it first (cash or digital). The food will be deliver to you pretty quick The food itself is pretty tasty. They have 3 types of sambal (I’m not sure what it is). The protein, such as chicken skin, eel, and squid is a pretty solid choice. I also order some eggplant and cabbage for the condiment. The famous fried and bakwan is out of order, as well as their es pisang ijo. Overall it’s a nice place to eat with a pretty cheap price
View on GoogleThe food was very great, very delicious, but I couldn't stand the atmosphere there when I was there. It was extremely crowded, it took a long time for them to serve our orders. I think they need to get a much better management system. Especially during the peak dinner hours (7-9 p.m).
