The pempek was so tender, chewy, and crispy at the same time. It had a clean taste and you could really taste the quality of the fish. The cuko was absolutely delicious, and I loved that they offered two options: spicy and sweet to choose from. Surprisingly, my favorite was the Pempek Kulit. I've never been a fan of fish skin before, but this one completely changed my mind. It was crispy, flavorful, and absolutely addictive. I also tried the Tekwan, and it was really good as well. The fish balls were soft and bouncy, and the broth was light yet flavorful without being overly fishy, which I really enjoyed.

Iy just so happende im in the BSD area and passing by Pempek Kenari, so I stopped by. Im a pempek fan, so let's give it a try :)) The restaurant wasn't very busy at the time, but after half an hour, more people started arriving. The atmosphere inside was quite comfortable. I ordered my favorite menu wherever I eat pempek: "Lenggang Goreng, Lenjer, and Kulit." Other dishes I ordered were "Tekwan, Adaan, and Pempek panggang.” The Taste: •Lenggang Goreng: Delicious and savory. The flavors were just right, not too salty or bland, especially paired with the sweet and spicy vinegar (cuko). It was delicious! The toppings were also complete with mie kuning, bihun, ebi, and mentimun. • Lenjer & Kulit: Both were delicious. i like it! • Tekwan: Delicious. The soup flavors just right • Adaan: Delicious & Savory The price was very pocket-friendly considering the quality of the product. It's no wonder this place is always busy.

best Palembang in BSD area the spice cuko alone doesn't have a taste (just spice, which is bad) so I'd recommend 70% sweet cuko and 30% spicy ones if you want spicy pempek

Pempek Kenari BSD is very good service, food & good place. Kapal Selam is very recommended. You must come & try
