I had the pleasure of trying out the Chinese style chicken porridge restaurant that only serves halal food, and I must say that I was blown away by the quality of their dishes. The restaurant's signature dishes, the chicken porridge and Chicken Hainam Rice, were cooked to perfection using only the best quality chicken and cooked for hours to achieve their exquisite taste. I opted for the chicken porridge with Chinese Boiled Chicken, and it was everything I could have asked for and more. The porridge was creamy and had just the right amount of thickness, and the chicken was tender and flavorful. I also appreciated that they had options for plain porridge or with chicken, which catered to different preferences. To complement my porridge, I ordered a few side dishes like braised tofu, and salted egg, which were all equally delicious. The salted egg was a great addition, adding a burst of saltiness to the meal. I could tell that all the dishes were made with care and attention to detail. Aside from the food, the service was also excellent. The staff was friendly and accommodating, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. The restaurant is closed on Mondays but is open from 7 am on other days, making it a perfect spot for breakfast or lunch. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious and authentic Chinese style chicken porridge. With their dedication to using only the best quality ingredients and their excellent service, I am confident that anyone who visits will have a great dining experience.

Chinese-style but halal comfort food. Not a lot of options for the main dish, you can only choose between congee or Hainan rice. Lots of toppings you can add for a price though. The congee tasted awesome, not just salt and pepper, but rich in the taste of chicken broth. I usually add some extra seasoning when I eat congee in other places, but I felt like this was just right so I didn’t need to adjust anything. I personally love the extra touch of intentionally well-designing the restaurant despite it being a quite old shophouse. *A note on the one thing that could be improved: Maybe add other payments methods than just cash and transfer to the owner’s bank account? An EDC machine or QRIS would make it more practical.

The porridge is really fluffy with a thick broth taste. Favorite Chinese style porridge recipe which is starting to be hard to find nowadays. Noodles are also available at noon. The side dishes are also delicious and worth trying. The atmosphere in the restaurant is thick with old Chinese nuances, feels warm and cozy.

Bubur Pulen offers halal food. The bubur taste great and love the sayur asin. Portion also generous. Nasi hainam also taste great.

The food is good, bubur ikan was so gurih and the fish are generous Sadly, the service need a lot of improvement Especially the division of labor in the floor. I saw the person in charge of cleaning the table and picking up dirty dishes just stood behind, the person serving the food also helped prepare food, the person in charge of the cashier also prepared take away food, so you make people who want to order wait. Make the menu simple so you can manage it better. The cakue prawn mayo is supposed to be your highlight food, but its not available. Hainan porridge and rice are supposed to be fast serve food, there's so much potential, please manage it better.
