First time trying Yuimaru. I had their miso ramen. Overall I like the taste of it, a bit too salty but still enjoyable, and the price are resonable. The place itself is cozy. I went there at 4pm-ish, so it wasn't crowded. I'm giving 3.5 stars for their service. It's not because they serve bad, but the "serving" attitude is not exhibited well. I was raising my hand calling someone to take my order, the team in the pantry saw me and informed a guy walking (might be the manager? The pantry guy called him "Pak". He was wearing uniform), the guy was drinking from a mug while walking and called a server's name out loud to come to my table without even take sometime to look at my table or just do eye contact. If he was the leader, that's definiteltly not a good example for the team.

Ordered their gyuu ishiyaki gohan, salmon belly carpaccio, tempura moriawase and sushi. Their tempura is very crispy, perfectly cooked and not oily. Generally the food that we ordered are good and reasonably priced, except the sushi just so so. Even the dessert, choco banana cake also very tasty. Service is warm and attentive.

Nice spacious place. Plenty of tables. I wonder if they have VIPs room. Cant see it if they have any. The western music played is a little bit too loud for my preference. Good ambience still. The waitress does have good knowledge about their menu. This boy cant explain what’s the difference between tuna truffle and other tuna menu. So I ended up not ordering it. The sizzling rice is recommended. The sizzling bowl is real and works the magic to create that ‘kerak’ rice. The skewers has nice touch by adding a egg yolk sauce as condiment. The sashime is placed on ice plate. So it’s giving the extra freshness to our liking. Though the salmon is not too red. I guess it’s more fresh and no added colors then. Ps: i’m just assuming here. Overall it’s a good choice. Btw, this place is located inside the CONCOURSE food area. It’s still pretty new. Not all is occupied yet. I’m looking forward for the overall improvement. We may come to visit again for other menu. The lady waitress just asked us our opinion / feedback about the menu. Gave them one. I said the salmon cheese roll better not to add the imitation crab stick. It make the food less appealing for health conscience people like us. Lol… though we ate it all. She accepted and thanking it very politely. Nice. There is sincerity in her voice and body language.

Yuimaru Alam Sutera - Japanese resto with good value for money. Food 4⭐️ Place 5⭐️ Service 4.6⭐️ The place looks neat! With huge room and comfortable seating. There’s vip room up to 10 pax too. Order the ishiyaki rice, garlic fried rice with beef topping. The rice was nice and tasty, the beef portion is huge and this menu was quite big and for sharing for 2 people. Ordered nami platter of 4 salmon rolls and 4 beef rolls. The taste was good but the beef used in this rolls was unfortunately very thin. :( Also ordered tamagoyaki, taste good but the different here is, its warm. Overall tastewise was quite good and offers range of Japanese cuisine with good value. Will be back.

Friendly staff and limited food selection. The staff recommended tacos, but we didn’t know it was this small lol. The price is on the expensive side and the food so-so. We liked the fried rice paper tho
