If you come here, I highly recommend sticking to the ramen. My Buta Tan Tan (Regular) was excellent with a thick broth and great portion size. Sadly, the rice dish didn't measure up. The Buta Katsu Oyakodon is served on a hot plate, which ruined the texture—the egg was overcooked, the meat was dry, and the sauce was lost. As for the sides, the Tori Karaage was average, and the Gyoza was strangely watery inside despite having decent flavor. Great ramen, but the rest needs improvement.

I have to be very honest... this hit a new low for me. Overall, I think it is more fitting to call these dishes noodle soup rather than term them as ramen. Service was good, atmosphere was okay too. We ordered buta miso ramen, buta signature ramen and buta gyoza. The gyoza came out first and it looked colourless and like playdoh. Taste and texture wise, i would appreciate it if it was fresher. The buta miso ramen came out with black oil on top, what you would usually see in garlic ramen. First mouth and it tasted sweet and familiar. I sipped a little more and realized it tastes like ABC soup with more corn flavour. After the third spoon, i cannot taste the broth anymore. Possibly using those powdered seasonings? There was black fungus as toppings also. The black fungus tasted like...water? I was so confused. I tried the black fungus in the other bowl and it also tasted like...water(?!) and the black oil had no taste at all, not sure what it was trying to do. Next, the buta signature ramen. It tasted somewhat similar to the miso ramen, no fragrance, no flavour, just coloured water. We found a piece of cloth inside the soup too, which the staff promptly apologized and investigated the situation. It was just cloth from where the black fungus was growing from. Noodles has texture of normal Indonesian noodles. Yup. And it was pricey for that portion. We both got regular size and left with half belly filled.

The type of ramen that you would immediately think of when someone says "ramen". The pork ramen is really delicious with thick and savory— slightly salty broth. The miso pork ramen is quite similar with the regular pork one, but it has a more 'sweet' taste. The meat is cooked very nice & tender.

There are so many various kind of noodles both halal and non halal.. If u dont want to eat the noodles, you can order the rice menu or side dishes.. I order the noodles menu, the taste is so good... Pick the reguler one and make u feel full.. The price is also affordable..
