The place is very spacious and comfortable, parking situation was also very convenient when I came. It was also clean and well-kept! I think this place is good for a quick bite, since the food came out rather quickly, which was nice. The food was actually quite nice as well, better than what I've had at some of their other locations. I really liked the water spinach, smelled very nice and was also super flavorful! On my second visit, the dish actually tasted bitter though, I have no idea why. Additional note; for a restaurant named "Sambal Bakar" it was funny how the sambal itself was a letdown; disappointingly average, bordering on bland, I would say. I was expecting the sambal to be the highlight, but it just didn't work out, and that was quite sad!

Sambal Bakar Indonesia offers a diverse menu, but I found the focus on fried dishes rather than grilled ones surprising. While I anticipated standout grilled items, the fried foods took center stage. The restaurant also features three soup-based dishes. I tried the Soto Betawi and Garang Asam, both labeled as "jumbo," but they were more of a personal size. Despite these misnomers, the flavors were satisfying and well-executed. The ambiance is inviting, and the service is attentive. Overall, while the menu names could be clearer, the culinary experience at Sambal Bakar Indonesia remains enjoyable.

Food taste is nice although the portion is to small. Recommended for people who like aa spicy food.
